Some students find the gap between the two terms too long and note that their skills have regressed. Open studio is a great opportunity to practise and master the skills you have acquired and potentially try to produce some alternative products whether it be on the potter's wheel or via hand building technique and even a combination of both. Having some sessions that are not structured in between the teaching terms, provides you to freedom and flexibility to get focused on your own stile and creativity.
